For who?

For any musician aged 19 to 26 playing classical music, from ancient to contemporary, as a duo, trio or other ensemble, always without a conductor. The soloist is excluded.

About us

Kamermuziek Concours Gelre is a national competition with its seat in Nijmegen. Its partner is Concertgebouw De Vereeniging in Nijmegen. It has close ties with the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam.

Preliminary rounds & semi-finals

This edition’s preliminary rounds and semi-finals (for all ages) will take place on Saturday 19 September 2026 and Sunday 20 September 2026, both at Musis & Stadstheater Arnhem.

Final

As in previous editions, the final will be held at Concertgebouw De Vereeniging in Nijmegen on Sunday 27 September 2026. Registration for the Gelre Chamber Music Competition (for all ages) will open on 1 April 2026. Our sign up form can be found here!
