I find chamber music special because you create something beautiful together without anyone taking the lead. Everyone has their own voice, and at the same time you are constantly listening to one another. This creates a form of collaboration that is very direct, spontaneous and personal. No two performances are exactly the same: you respond to one another in the moment and, together, continually discover new nuances and ideas in the music.

Chamber music also brings people closer together. Not only the musicians on stage, but the audience too often feels more engaged thanks to the intimate atmosphere. It’s not about one person shining, but about creating something together that is greater than the sum of its parts. It is precisely this combination of ensemble playing, creativity and connection that makes chamber music so valuable to me.
